Removing stations from a line

How do you remove a station from a line? I can add more stations but trying to change the line setup to include fewer or different stations isn't intuative/available?

Click and drag on a pice of line, drag it to the station you want removed from the line.

This is confusing and not really discoverable - I think it might be better if you clicked on a line and then the coloured piece around the staion and dragged that

Thanks for the link jpelgrom! We've found that all the neat little tips and tricks for quick track editing aren't as intuitive as we thought, so a mini-tutorial is in on the cards that will walk through all of that stuff.

I have done as the link many times and it does not always remove the station (how did you get the gif so IO could demo)

This isn't a bug, Rush Hour mode doesn't let you remove tracks. We're part-way through a UI update that will let you know the rules of each of the game modes, so you'll at least be aware of them going into each game.

I think it should be changed to a simple right click on the mouse on the line you want to remove between the stations so you can re-route easily.

Can't do it on mobile (or maybe even console touchscreens), so this won't be changed (to the best of my memory).

I just started today, and had to search (finding this article) for help on this as the tutorial still doesn't cover it. How about just having a help screen listing how you do the various things? I know it doesn't really fit in so well with your minimalist aesthetic, but it would improve gameplay for new users dramatically. (I must have done a dozen or so sessions, my frustrating increasing with each one, before I went to the Internet for help.)

And here's another area where the documentation/training/whatever simply doesn't work: I played the game for more than four hours before I found out (again, through random reading of stuff on the Internet) that you can pause it.

I was personally about it give up on the game because it just got too hard on most maps as you approach a thousand passengers or so.

Please, please just add a simple page of instructions. There are too many things in this game that are mysterious and don't need to be.

What I couldn't figure out is how do you remove one of the end stations of a line? I have a tendency of dragging the wrong color accidentally, and the only way to remove the falsely extended station is to delete the whole line using the X on the big color circle, and redo it in whole. Any advice on this?

Grab the big 'T' at the end of the line and draw it back through the end station part-way towards the previous station. (But not all the way to the previous station, that will sometimes remove that station, too.)
