Account termination.
So I've been trying in the past week to get my Mortals online account deleted because I simply want so (I'm not into the game, so having an account is useless). I've contacted the company twice by e-mail and they've yet to respond regarding this matter.

I even attempted to google this and haven't found any means of doing this. Does anyone have a suggestion? It's really getting on my nerves.

Support will definitely contact you back with a response. They're just swamped right now due to the steam release. I had a ticket with them before steam launch, they responded in a couple of hours, and then we emailed back and forth every 10 minutes until the issue was resolved.

Star Vault is an indie studio of a handfull of people that runs an mmo. I'm sorry you're frustrated, and I completely understand, but please have patience.

Thanks for clarifying. I will now.

And I got that email, only to be told that they have no ~official~ way of deleting the account. What the hell?

Not sure what you mean by "delete your account"? I don't know of any game that deletes accounts, they just go inactive.

Remove it from the database, e-mail, information. Inactive for a month then gets deleted after.

That would be horrible.

Understood. But I don't think it's an option right now and as I stated, no other game out there does that as far as I'm aware.

Very few studios do, there is just too much to stand to benefit and encourage players to return with litterally zero reason to delete it besides satifying paranoid people without the foresite to not use information they deem sensitive.

However, You can delete any credit card information or anything like that manually via the website account options also you can change your account email to a fake one if it bothers you.

Change any CC info you gave them simply by inputing a new (fake) cc card number and then change your email to direct someplace else - even a fake address.

But, unfortunately, no one is going to remove your account from the DB. Even though that would be nice from a fraud protection standpoint - as even the old CC number might be stored in the DB somewhere.

As a customer request regarding his/her personal information, I think it should be accommodated and removed from the database manually.

As an added perk, maybe it would free up enough disk space so the rest of your customers could actually login? ;)
