I like Timeshock but one thing is the size of the files 150 GB space the whole game ...WOW
Its the biggset I have seen in how much space it uses,It would take half the size of my HD,the data on the game need compressing so A its not so big and B it don't take you 4 days to download the whole game with all its features.. :)

Its a nice table but they just made it to make money now where are they...gone,don't anser here or on there website,I would of said the table that needed revamping was The Web(I like it better than Timshock cos its the orignal),but they did Timshock cos it was the most popular, the 3rd table had to much stuff on it and the 4th one did too and they properly had the scorce code for Timeshock,If I was going to remake Pro Pinball I would remake the whole series not just one. I can't fit it on my PC cos of space so I am happy with playing the PS1/PC version anyway, its just as good,I have all 4 of them on PS1 and PC.Oh and Barnstorm Games are a mobile phone Games Pubplisher. They have made a lot of game from gameshows on ITV like The Chase and Tipping Point on Android and IOS.The Barn in the name is from Barnet in London. It says on there website "We specialise in high-quality, family friendly games, for handheld devices" so first time they published a PC game before but its on Android and IOS too.

Lol don't download the entire game, just the view(s) in the resolution you need. It's only 4.7GB for me (1280x1024). It plays the same as the 1997 version but it looks so much nicer.

Mere speculating of course but from the Kickstarter videos I got the feeling they revamped Timeshock! for the love of the game and to fund revamping the next pinball game. They must have run out of money otherwise they would have updated the ball physics, send out the Kickstarter rewards and done the other tables by now :(

You'd think the pinball community at Steam is big enough to make this game a success but perhaps too many prefer spending their money on cheap tables.

Barnstorm Games is still active as you say. I keep hoping they'll return to pinball one day and revamp the entire series.

Pinball is a niche and not exactly that popular. Hence why Farsight lost the Williams/Bally license.
Pinball Arcade, being free to download with one free table (until June 30th) didn't even manage to get downloaded by 1 million people. Zaccaria Pinball has several free tables, less than 100k downloads, Pinball FX3 has less than 50k at an estimate.
It's not about being "big enough", just that Pinball isn't a very popular genre and i guess some companies have absuredly high expectations about the number of sales.

Sure, hence why Pinball Arcade with its high priced table packs and rarely any sales was the best selling pinball product.

15€ for what most people will see as a 20 year old table is not what people would pay. Even Wicked Pinball had to drop their price because even for that new, modern table people thought it was overpriced. Pro Pinball back then was also not as popular as the 4 to how many other table games for the same price, hence why the original publisher quickly lowered the sale price for the later versions.
Add to that the maybe fact that also Timeshock might not be everybody's favourite (i for example would've instantly bought Big Race USA) and i think the 15.000 or so sales are actually not all that bad for a niche game with a very, very limited audience.

I doubt this is the case, given the circumstances that very few people know about regarding the debacle. And you're also not accounting for other platforms, not just on Steam. If it's any indication, Monster Bash Remake was announced around the same time that happened. IMHO Zen has the WMS license now, and also given the good standing they have with LucasFilms, they might just be looking at Indiana Jones as we speak.

Look at how many games are being produced today. Really, judging from what happened in the late 90s, pinball has bounced back. Maybe not so much as the 80s and early 90s, and the loss of the license is bad enough as it is.

Nothing more than an empty shell. All table view/resolution data is hosted on a third party server. If that goes, good luck finding it elsewhere.
