Should I buy NBA 2K25?

I haven’t bought any previous NBA 2Ks, and I’ve heard bad things about them.

However, I’ve wanted to get this game ever since hearing about the MyNBA mode.

So here’s the question: Is this game worth it if I’m going to basically only play MyNBA? Is MyNBA a good enough mode to make this game worth it?

I have played for 64 hrs. This version 2k25 is better than any previous ones. Definitely Worthy, trust me. I can feel the gravity of ball falling on basket and bounce.

MyNBA is fine for casuals but it's just not realistic enough for me.

I can trade my way to a championship in 2 years every time because the AI doesn't understand concepts like bad contracts. The auto-generated draft classes are horrendous too. Have fun tanking when you're likely to have a 5'10 point guard as the consensus #1 pick. I only play MyTeam because realism doesn't matter in that mode.

IMO this year's game is worth $25 or whatever it is on sale. The on-court action is solid and it's among the best local multiplayer games around. All you really need is to get, what, 25 hours of entertainment to get your money's worth here?

That said, don't buy it at full price unless you follow the NBA. I wouldn't.
