what does mycareeer look like?

ever since 2k12 they have been unable to replicate that amount of depth and enjoyment in the mycareer path, you would have post game interviews with shack and the gang, you would be able to build chemistry with your team and pick fights with other players from other teams. participate on social media and just overall basically have a real career in the league, now its so bland. its just play game, win or lose it, then go back to navigation screen and see your stats, no interviews, no stirring the pot, no nothing. just click, play, go back to navigation screen, repeat.
i cant find anything on whether they focused on the my career portion this time around or if they just gave 5% attention to it and 95% of attention was on mycourt 3v3 crap as usual. only way i buy this game is if their is actually an enjoyable mycareer. appreciate any inside knowledge on this and preferably not from a dev, since ya know. paid to lie and sell copies.

IMO. Last years MyPlayer format was one of the best they have done. There was basically no story. All though the little story they had was kind of stupid. But most of their stories are. But what I liked the best about it was the GOAT mode. Where you basically are attempting to break all the records and you have to win 7 championships to dethrone MJ. It was honestly the first MyPlayer mode that gave me a reason to keep playing past the first season. I hope they continue with something similar for 2k25.

Also, I should clarify. I played on Xbox Series X last year. But normally I would prefer to play on PC as I mostly buy the game for solo play. I don't know what the PC 2k24 MYPlayer mode was like last year. But now that PC will be caught up to Next Gen. I would expect them to be the same.

Can you actually play mycareer offline? It's not great when your mycareer data effectively gets deleted 3 years later when the servers shutdown inevitably

Hell nah, at the very least you should be able to progress through high school / college and actually go through a draft, that's a feature they've removed for seemingly no reason at all.

wait so this whole time they have had the interviews and being able to get drafted and talk sauce to others on the consoles but ive been limited to just shooting a ball and then checking stats and repeating? tf is the point of wasting 1ks of dollars on computer gear if i get stuck behind the "BEEP" caveman? i knew madden did this its why i stopped buying it.

so i see 2k25 has a career but it says its wnba. So do us dudes still get a career with all the features or is it just for the wnba?
