crashing after a mycareer game

hello! so ive been playing for about 20hrs now. no crashing on startup/splash screen, even when downloading shaders i have no issues, smooth gameplay and everything i get around 160fps max when playing, but when i finish a mycareer game it freezes and then crashes right after. weird cause i run the game smoothly when i play but every after a game it crashes. ive tried disabling all the overlays i have, lowering some settings. what can you guys suggest id do?

btw im running a ryzen 5 5500 and rx 6600 8gb with a 16gb ram also downloaded the game on my m.2

bro im having the same issue. ive now played game 4 of the conference finals 10 times because it crashes after the game is finished after it shows badge progression and xp, etc. i5 12400, rx6800 with 16gb vram, 16gb ram, game also installed on m.2. one thing ive noticed is that the game runs with 100% cpu utilization and theres nothing i can do to lower it , and its only for 2k25

right? it also crashes right after i receive all the vc and exp etc i wonder why it runs on 100% cpu, maybe its also the reason why it suddenly crashes after the game. saw this comment on reddit to limit the fps to 60 cause its made for consoles like that. not sure tho, ive not yet to try it.

to anyone experiencing the same problem as mine (crashing/freezing) try clearing cache from settings here on steam, it helped me and i since then played like 3 mc games and yet to have a freeze nor a crash. i hope this helps!

I fix i found just save before the game end's then if it crashed you'll be able to just finish out the game

Since I free disk space the game no crashed, I had 240gb free in my m2

another one that helped me a lot is turning on intel resolution scaling although i have amd cpu and gpu it works for me tho

XeSS is my preferred scaling anyways, it's sharper and doesn't hinder performance. AMD GPU as well.

i change it form amd to intel and i still crash

Considering this thread is from September of last year and at this point in time it is February 28th, 2025 & I am seeing it has been this long with this issue that I am currently having is disheartening to say the least.
