Hi everybody !

I tried to lower the graphics too and... it worked ! I ran some tests and I found out that the error was due to the "Ray-Traced Reflections" option ("Traitement des reflets" in french) for me. When I turned it off, my game stopped crashing when entering The City in MyCareer, even with the other graphic settings in high or very high.

I hope this fixes the error/bug for you too !

Code Error 0x887a0006
Hi, I have a RX 7800XT, the game crashes often when it does a loading phase, but during the games I never have problems, then the loading "icon 25" stops and remains a black screen or sometimes closes the game and received this error:
Graphics Device Failure: 0x887a0006

I read on the internet that many have this problem regardless of the graphics card

same problem RX 7800XT

I found A solution to my case. In my machine it's missing a Visual C++ 2013 (32 and 64 Bits) . After a Instalation of this resolve this issues.
Did anyone else try this?

Alright I set everything related to shadows or reflections to Low/Medium and everything else to High, Fabric simulation off, Motion blur / DOF and Sharpness off, with Ray-Traced Reflections off and Caching shaders to off

I was able to play for 2 hours yesterday with no crash.
6700XT (my guess is ray tracing messes with AMD cards)

Disabling the Ray Tracing, HDR and using DLSS seems to be stable for me(Ultra settings). 4080S+7800x3d - was crashing like crazy before.

I didn't activate ray tracing. Then I should have everything low with a card paid 600€? I don't think it's me or my card that's the problem, and the game was paid 70€, they have to do something not me, I don't accept seeing a low resolution with an RX 7800XT card

Same for me with message :

Graphics Device Failure: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
Error Code 0x887a0006

It's always with myplayer mode.

Of course I agree with you. That's a shame and shouldn't be tolerated for a full price game they release every year. But hey, at least I can play waiting for a patch to fix that
