Need some tips against the ai

having some difficulty beating the ai
they keep sprinting past me like there isnt someone guarding them and yet everytime i try anything they shut me down instantly no matter what player im using, they just know my next moves all the time.

Don't use Sprint all the time, tip 1

Go to low stance and try to cut them off.

Don't spamm the steal.

On the attack use Screens for Pick&Roll and Pick&Pop

Later on, learn the basic dribble moves and brake those ankles.

Always and I mean ALWAYS look at the Ball!!!

Try to man to man on defense, pick n roll on offense

Mix up your left stick input in terms of direction, speed, acceleration, how much you move the stick, combinations of movements/changes of direction and speeds, etc. This will create intuitive and automatic dribble moves, also won't allow your opponent to get an easy read for when you finally sprint/burst and commit to a direction to drive.
