out of memory error
I was having an issue previously where the game would crash with the out of memory error, despite the game never reaching the max RAM or VRAM of my system.

I recently changed GPU's to a 7800xt and now the issue is somehow worse than when I was running a 1080ti, both of which should have more than enough VRAM to run the game. Is there a known issue with the game not recognising memory or something? I have 32gb of RAM, so that isn't an issue either. I have pagefiles disabled which is the only thing I can think of that might be causing problems

you have 32GB Ram so no need increasing or disabling page file. Allow windows to automatically manage paging file. disabling paging file can cause some applications and windows features not to function properly.

Are you trying to play in 4K? That would use more VRAM.

I have issues with pagefiles filling my c drive, as I use a smaller c drive
1. Set NBA 2K25 to “High Performance” in Windows:

- In your Windows taskbar, press the search button and type in “Graphics Settings.”

- At the bottom of the settings, select “Browse” and find the folder where NBA 2K25 is downloaded (Program Files x86 > Steam > SteamApps > Common > NBA 2K25).

- Select the .exe application, and it will show up in your Graphics Settings window.

- Click on the game, press “Options,” and set it to “High Performance.”

2. Set your Nvidia GPU to Maximum Performance:

- If you have an Nvidia GPU, go into the Nvidia Control Panel and select “Manage 3D Settings.”

- Go to Program Settings and add NBA 2K25 from the list of games.

- Scroll down the settings for the game and find “Power Management Mode.”

- Set this to “Prefer Maximum Performance” and click apply.

Does nothing, I don't have an integrated GPU on my CPU and I have an AMD GPU

It was the pagefile that was causing it, so clearly the port is so bad that it needs a pagefile to operate correctly
Had this issue too on my Steam Deck but I redownloaded the game.

It's a shame something so simple causes such a headache.
