2k Wont open

Hey guys, I've been spending the better part of 2 hours trying to solve this issue but no luck. I have 69 hours on 2k25 and when I was about to start a game in mycareer, my game crashed. So being the gamer that I am I hit play on steam, saw the Jayson Tatum small windowed loading screen initializing shaders, as the game would normally do. After the screen closes, the game does not open, instantly crashes every single time. This happened last night, it has now been 24 hours since the start. I have verified the integrity of the game files, I deleted 2k, reinstalled it on my SSD, i looked for mod and global files in the local files, nothing there. I do not know what to do next

Mine crashes too, And this never happened to me before. Mine shows the logo then force closed.

its been crashing for me constantly at startup for a few days. done a million things to try fix it, i work in IT so i know what i'm doing. game is broken now for whatever reason. uninstalled and may revisit at next update to see if its improved. shame as i was almost done with my 82 game season but there you go. 2k is 2k.

Same to me. Can't play. Developers for this game is trashh. The server is trash Always disconnecting me meanwhile in other games like valorant I don't get disconnected. Always having gpu error.

My nbagm games won’t open and if they do everything is black on the court and players are invisible. Oh along with crashing without any error codes.

Just for your info.. Dont use a modded global.iff

So I fixed it by uninstalling the game, deleting the NBA 2k25 folder, reinstalling the game, restarting the PC, running EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup as admin, and then start_protected_game as admin.
