How bad is the grind?
Was thinking of getting into 2k, never played it. But I keep hearing about how bad the grind is and how the game is unplayable with a new character without buying VC.
Can a casual, who can't play it like a 2nd job, get decent with it and have fun or is the game really that unplayable without spending money?

i have 4 characters, 1 99overall, 2 95, and 1 91, you can get to 90ish overall in 2 days with mycareer method

You can't skip the grind, even if you spent a couple hundred dollars. You'll still need to grind the level to get higher overalls. Each NBA carrer game u'll get close to 800/900VC. And to get to the better stats, u'll need close to 200k VC for each stat...

I don't mind a bit of grinding, I just don't want a second job.
I played Fifa last year, felt like I had a pretty competitive team to play online pretty quickly. I just don't want to spend like 200 hours grinding to be able to compete

Not gonna lie i think it was way faster to get VC in 2k22. Endorsment Deals this Year are a joke and completly useless. You used to get "goals" to get extra VC if u get like 20 PTS and 10 Boards in a Game. This doesnt even exist anymore

The Endorsements are a joke nowadays. 2k VC for a #of fans, and that's it lol

The grind is as bad as you've probably heard,
You'd better hope your first build is the right build because the VC grind to make a new build is crazy.

Also, the community is among the most toxic that I've seen.. if you wanna play online then you should do so with friends or mute your mic so that you don't have to deal with people.

If you play on Pro difficulty, you're get like 900-1100 VCs per game.
Just keep simming to key games and try to win the playoffs to get the extra VCs.

Most people play around 2 hours per day and is lucky if they can play on weekends.
