Activating GOAT Skill crashes game

Getting "GPU will not respond to more command, most likely because of an invalid command passed by the calling application." in myCareer after activating GOAT skill.

I've done all the troubleshooting steps, and have been able to chase down the bug to this game mode, to this one feature. It isn't vram running out, it isn't 2013 C++ visual redistributable. It isn't FPS. It isn't my windows install.

It is a feature tied to this game causing my GPU to stop responding to commands. It would be great if it was fixed instead of blamed on players.
