Game Still won't launch after two months
Every time I launch the game, once it gets to the Jayson Tatum intro screen, the game crashes with no error message, sometimes it does not even get to the JT screen and crashes, still no error message. I have a ticket open with 2k support but that will get me nowhere. I have done all forms of trouble shooting from turning off overlays, to prioritizing GPU, reinstalling windows, reinstalling drivers, etc. I am just wondering if anybody has found a fix? Below are my specs, so I am above the recommended specs so I doubt that is an issue.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor
AVX2: Supported
Windows 11 (64 bit)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
RAM: 16309 Mb

Have you checked that you're running the game as an administrator?
Are there any entries in Event Viewer?

Does anyone had a fix for this? did the same thing but still crashing on the splash screen, it's frustrating. it's been a month I think after the v3.0 update, after that update I won't be able to play the game

I don't believe you could have done all that troubleshooting and still not figure the issue out.

If you reinstalled windows and the issue persists, it is 100% a hardware problem.

I don't know what to tell you, I have done all of that troubleshooting and it is obviously not a hardware issue if the game worked for a month before this most recent season 3 update.

Hey, did you figure it out? I really need help!
I bought the game today and wanted to play it, but I have the same problem as you. The JT screen appears, and that's it. There’s no error message, the game just crashes.

I just bought the game too and I got the same problem, tried running as administrator and verified files, nothing works so far

Sadly no, I am talking with 2k Support again now, so hopefully they give me an answer this time.

Maybe cracked windows? any cracked program?
Try to Update/Reinstall/Install: Microsoft NET. Frameworks (all versions, even which no supported for ur Windows), Microsoft XNA. Framevorks, Microsoft Visual C++ (Also all versions). Make sure, what any antivirus/firewall software have Steam and NBA 2K25 in their exceptions. Try IObit Driver Booster to make sure, what u have all drivers and gaming software up to date, for playing games without any problems.

Peace for all :gilmanlove:
