No shot meter – Game stays on Real Player % despite changing the setting
I have the following problem:
I play NBA 2K25 on PC (Steam) with a friend, and we play almost every game together. We recently noticed that I do not have a shot meter. In MyPlayer (or in general), the shot meter is not enabled because my shot setting is forced to Real Player Percentage.

We have set everything up exactly the same as my friend:

Layup timing is set to a risk-based setting.
The shot meter is enabled for jump shots and layups (both in MyPlayer and in the main menu).
The issue:

I only see the shot meter for mid-range and three-point shots, but not for layups.
Every time I check my settings, the controller setting reverts to Real Player Percentage when I enter another room or mode.
Sometimes, after multiple adjustments between games, my settings stay as I want them—but the shot meter for layups still does not appear.
The strange thing is that when I play alone in MyCourt, I do see the shot meter for layups. However, as soon as my friend joins or I enter his MyCourt, the shot meter disappears again.
I think my settings indicate that layups should have high-risk timing, but in-game, it seems to remain on Real Player Percentage. I do not receive any feedback on my layup timing (green, early, or late).
I am really frustrated and have tried everything, but nothing works. I don’t think 2K Support can help either. I already submitted a ticket, but I haven’t received a response yet.

Did you set it in settings or your stance?

Same issue here. FYI, the settings revert to default when you use keyboard/mouse. I know this because I used keyboard for a year and when I switched to ps5 controller, it does not revert to default settings anymore. But now, the game is ruined as even if you're connected to a controller, the keyboard/mouse function is not disabled or the game is still recognizing the keyboard/mouse, and as I've said, when the game recognizes your keyboard/mouse, the settings revert to default settings. Maybe I'll buy ps5 this year.

Everytime I use my keyboard to play after using my controller, I have to change it in the "customize UHD" page. Not that hard, but annoying.
