Impossible to play Online

I'm running the game very smoothly in single player but if I try to play My Team or Play Now Online I get unplayable frames / stuttering. Did some research and so far people are claiming this is the norm and that 2K has always had "delay"? But this doesn't make any sense to me like I've watched a lot of YT videos of people playing these modes online and it seemed fine for them. I tried lowering graphics, running as admin, all the usual and still no luck, I even got banned for half an hour for leaving games because they were unplayable. Anyone have the same issue and managed to fix it?

If you ever figure this out please let me know. It's awful. The delay is insane and sometimes the game is only running at 30fps. It's perfect in single player. Timing shots in online modes is insanely difficult
