Game Crashing When Entering Any Sort of Match
I have some sort of weird error where my game will instantly close whenever I enter any sort of game (Playnow, Park, MyTeam, etc.). The thing is, all menus and even walking around in the city work, but as soon as I try to play on a court, it will load and just close after a few seconds with no error code. I have tried verifying, re-installing on 2 different drives, changing graphics and framerates, and pretty much everything I could find on Google.

Specs:

RTX 4070 12GB
I7-13000KF
32GB of DDR5 2400Hz
(Both of my drives are SSD's)

Note: When I first installed the game, I could play offline modes, but online modes would give me the "A Problem Has Occurred That Prevents Gameplay From Continuing" error, so I reinstalled it on my other drive, and now this error has been happening ever since.

Please let me know if anyone else has this issue or a fix bc I cannot seem to find anyone else who is having this problem.

I have the exact same problem. Game worked fine the first seasons and when the dropped anticheat this started happening.
contacted 2k support, they told me to do a bunch of stuff which didnt work and ended up blaming my hardware, telling me to contact windows support

Have you tried moving it back to the original drive? The "problem has occurred" issue is much more common and it might be better to find a solution to that than your current one which could be seen as an one of your own making by moving the game.

I have re-installed it on my other drive, and the same thing happens, even moved it back and forth a few times and same result each time.

Wait, so you're now getting the game crashing no matter which drive you install it on? You don't get the "problem has occurred" issue at all?

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear about that, my first ever install I got the "problem has occurred" issue, I then re-installed on my other drive to try and fix it and now no matter what drive I have it on it always crashes, I've lost count on how many times I've reinstalled the game on both.

Sometimes, reinstalling Steam itself could help. And you've tried verifying your files?

I have tried both, I don't mean to be rude or anything but I feel like I've tried everything under the sun at this point. Last thing left to try that I can think of is re-installing Windows which I really don't want to do.

I've tried:

- Re-installing and verifying on both drives
- Limiting frames and refresh rates
- Changing graphics
- Checking/resetting network
- Checking Windows Event Viewer, Windows Virus & Threat Protection
- Changing all types of in-game settings (Language, face scan, resolution, etc.)
- I tried windows 8 compatibility for Steam and 2k
- I tried dx11 and dx12 launch options
- Tested my CPU, GPU and, memory on multiple benchmarks

I've tried even more, but I honestly forget at this point. I've asked on here, Reddit and 2k support and I can't seem to find a solution.

Does the offline version of the game work?
Have you tried using a different account?

I don't have any other accounts, and playing offline doesn't seem to make a difference
