Crashing on startup after new update

My game crashes when I get to the Jayson Tatum intro screen every time, it doesn't matter if I launch with the bottom or top option. I had this problem for about a month when this game released and then has about 2 months of it not happening after one of the NVIDIA driver updates fixed it. I have reinstalled the NVIDIA drives and 2k but neither worked. I am mostly just wondering if anyone else is having this problem again now since the season 3 update.

Still no change, my drivers and windows are all up to date. This is the third update since this game has came out that has done this, garbage.

Can't Open the Game since the update that brought easy anti-cheat

Since the update, i cant really open my game because of this freaking anti cheat thing.
It always says that It could not locate the game binary (NBA2k25.exe file) even though I reinstalled the game.

when I start the game it gives an option on to use easy anti cheat or not.

yeah it says that my game binary is not located so idk what happened keep me updated this is my last day allowed on my pc for a while idk if they will fix it anytime soon

Maybe dont use cheats in the first place and the game can launch like normal.

You probably have a crappy virus protection that's blocking it.

Game crashing on startup - Update

2k Support told me today that even though my game worked for 80 hours worth of playtime before the season 3 update, that it isn't their fault that I can't launch the game anymore. "but the game is not really the source of the issue here" Really? I have seen over 50 people on here with the same problem of crashing on the intro screen with no error message, 99% of the people I have seen with the issue were also able to play at one point and have the recommended specs to run the game or better, yet it just stopped working. 2k support is horrible.

If the issue was simply the game on its own, no-one would be able to access it. At least, that's how it'll look from their side.

Have you made sure to re-install the C++ Redistributables, for example?
