How come its 50% off and reviews are mixed?

Reviews are mixed??? Not positive?

I'm planing on getting WWE 2K25, getting excited but looking at NBA 2K25 reviews mixed already 60% off. Feel like I'm in for a disappointment.

Bronny James debut into the NBA, figure this would hype, but reviews mixed. Released a couple weeks ago and its already 60% off. Hrmmmm.

Sounds similar to the situation with WWE 2K games.
WWE games the best one was like back in 2005, same situation with NBA games or is this NBA 2K series doing good? I haven't played an NBA game in a long time. NBA Streets on the PS2, loved that game.

No idea if this is supposed to be a "fun" troll post but aight.
The Game is a lot better than the past 3 Years. 2K25 got "NewEngine" wich the latest Consoles had for Years. The Graphics recieved a complete overhaul and shooting feels a lot better. Its not arcadish anymore.
People will always find something to complain about in Sport Games. MyTeam has always been P2W and thats nothing surprisng since u got the same problem in FIFA
MyCareer has been pretty solid with tons of milestones you can achieve. Cheaters dont seem to be that much of a problem anymore after they added an Anti Cheat last Patch.

And dude ur comparing wwe and 2k to games that happened 20!!!!!! Years ago. Like u cant even make a worse comparison like how dmb even is that. The Game changed completly in both of these. Thats like comparing housing prices 20 years ago and leaving out the factor of national crisis etc etc.

Anyhow. If you are not trolling and just some dmb kid i can highly recommend 2k25 even for the full price

Game has some issues performance wise and VC prices on upgrading a MyPlayer is just straight highway robbery. I think those are the main reasons people give mixed reviews. But with a new Engine and Anti-Cheat integrated, I can say this game is worth rn

Yeah same negative feedback in WWE 2K games too.
No one likes the cash grab content like MyPlayer.
Been 2 3 years, they still keep pushing this out though.

They don't listen to feedback and not very good with community.
It's like they Blizzard, where the community gives them no slack and they gotta step it up. Community tired of not being listened too.
Then you got game like Path of Exiles 2 where the community leaves positive review right away and very tough to get them to leave a bad review.

Main point, this 2K, Blizzard. They need to work getting its reputation back from the community. The NBA, the WWE, thats what is carrying these games. Sure is not 2K carrying NBA and WWE.

It's absolutely dreadfully managed and to rub it in they care even less about PC players than console. The servers can be down for days and they won't even acknowledge a problem, they'll just tell us when "..you can now login again."

It's also worse now than it was in season 1, making it as unrealistic as possible regarding shooting(you will play many games where one guy gets every basket from 3-point) 'cause the vast majority of players aren't skillful enough to actually play or understand the sport. Their answer? Make it easy to shoot for them.

It's basically been the same game every year for the last 10 or so years with a few changes like animations and models slightly improving.

The only reason you play it is for the basketball since there's no other option.

That's only because they've only ever played 1 arpg and don't realise how bad it is. Same reason people thought(since you used Blizzard) WoW and Overwatch were good...ignorance.

I wonder if they can pull a Nintendo on Palworld type thing,
where if some game just makes a random basketball game if they would get sued because its basketball and this company has patents to protect others from making a random basketball game.

NBA Street, Basketball Streets, RPG factor, good commentary, animations and so on. Would be a fun game.

People only play for the basketball, it doesn't have to have anything to do with the NBA since we play our own characters anyway.
