Does anyone play theater?

I've returned back to 2k after giving it up years ago on ps4, mostly due to next gen finally coming to pc. I've been trying all the modes new to me like, proving grounds and theater. 1v1 proving ground is really easy to find a match and smooth (excluding the games where someone boosted all there attributes to 99 overall). But the theater I can never get a game, no matter what mode, or time I am playing at. Park games can take a lot of waiting for consecutive matches, I really thought this theater mode would be popping 24/7 for easy, fast paced matchmaking.

Is it just me? Or is no one playing this mode....15k daily players on steamdb...

It was active when it was some sort of event. Maybe 2 weeks ago, played about 20 games 1 vs 1 because it was quest for theater.

I play mostly theater sometimes proving grounds with my friend, park games are getting long to get into the game + people are tryharding there like crazy. depends on what time you mostly play, there is no issue to find games up to 02:00 atleast for me, depends on events and day of the week.
