New Zealand (NZST) - 4:00 PM - Sept 4/6
Australia (AEST) - 2:00 PM - Sept 4/6
Japan (JST) - 1:00 PM - Sept 4/6
Singapore (SGT) - Noon - Sept 4/6
United Kingdom (BST) - 5:00 AM - Sept 4/6
United States (EDT) - Midnight - Sept 4/6

It's worldwide at the same time this year. So if you can't download yet, wait for the US East Coast to hit midnight, then give it a little longer for the server to actually release the game, restart Steam and see what happens. If it doesn't start to download, wait another 15 minutes and restart again.

NOTE, the first: Pre-order content will become available at full game launch, after Early Tip-Off. https://nba.2k.com/2k25/early-tip-off-faq/

NOTE, the second: There has been no pre-download of the game on Steam since NBA 2K21 so while you never know with it being the 9th Gen version this year, I wouldn't expect it either.

If you pre-ordered the game before the early tip-off announcement, you automatically get the benefit of playing two days early. I wouldn't worry about the date saying 9/6. It should unlock shortly after 8am on 9/4.

Will PC also get early access for Pre Ordering?

On the Steam Store it says "Coming Sep 6th" while on PS5 and Xbox it says "Coming Sep 4th"

Pre-Download for Early Access?

Will we able to preload/download the game so its ready in time for the early access? I dont wanna buy early access and have to wait then to download it

There has been no pre-download of the game on PC since NBA 2K21 so it would definitely be a change if they do it this year.

I am wondering the same thing too and they don't say anything about a version that you will have to buy for playing early only that it will have early play from 4/9??
