I'll definitely disagree with Dondu on this.
While the shooting might be different, Rookie difficulty is rather forgiving on your timing and you can actually set the release timing to not matter as much this year.
I would recommend trying it out for yourself and if you find it to difficult you can refund if you played under 2h. And 2h of playing around should give you an idea of the difficulty and if it is for you or not.
And I want to emphasize that this has no/none/zero similarities to souls games.
It has difficulty settings for example :D
If you want to play "play now" like me and just want to make the game as easy as possible or just easier than rookie so you can play with ease, I highly suggest tweaking some of the sliders. In that case, you could make the 3pt slider and contested shots sliders to 100 so that most of your shots go in even when you don't time it right. and then if thats not good enough you could lower the cpus defense sliders so they dont defend you as much. and remeber to make sure to save it so you dont ever lose those sliders. and you could always make the sliders/difficulty back to any thing you want
I do think you'll be fine in 2K though.
