Can't join/invite friends

I can't join or invite any friends in mycareer. It says friend's location is not available to join at this time. I've tried joining through the phone, or accepting an invite, or inviting them. Tried it with different friends, and tried it in different areas including mycourt.

Anyone else got this issue? It was working fine yesterday

I fixed it by reinstalling the game
