How do you switch to low presets? Sorry just got the Deck a couple months ago so still new to Steam/PC gaming in general.
I put it on 60 and selected FSR but it didn't seem to make a difference.
Main menu settings and there’s graphic settings on the right, you can see all the settings.
i think it has to do with these damn shaders. i think there is an option to save them to memory. Im seeing this is going on with gaming pc's as well. Perhaps the issue is on 2k's side with bugs. This need to be fixed asap.
When I turn that save to memory on system will crash in game, might be memory leak issue.
i have the game running pretty smoothly rn. besides some random 5 second pauses the game looks good. i uses the rendering option intel one.
Another patch has dropped and this has cured lots of freezing. The game is now running great for me. Looks beautiful. hdr on
I’ll like to try your settings, may you post it?
Thanks!
no problem.

Also make sure you have at least 40gb free space on internal sd card.
Another thing ... compile shaders. For the first couple of loads its important to do so while entering game. Add additional shaders 3 or 4 times. Let me know how it goes...
I'd be curious how the game looks with those settings. I likely will get this game on discount as it's not a priority game for me. But I have never thought of playing 2k on my steam deck oled as I figure it's just not a good experience. Gaming is a big hobby so I have a desktop I built and laptop that's high end so I know those are gonna be far more optimal but the idea of hoops on the go would be nice.
Are you talking about the actual gameplay? It's not blurry for you?
They dropped a patch already?
The menus are beautiful and smooth but the actual gameplay graphics look like PS2 or PS3. 2K24 gameplay ran smoother and better honestly, it makes no sense
