Is it worth getting this game on PC?

My 2nd NBA game was 2k20 during lockdown on console and it was a lot of fun. I remember people talking about how the game was unplayable though on PC. Is that still the case with this game? How long can you actually play this game for before it's infested with hackers?

They've implemented a couple of things silently that should help prevent cheaters quite a bit on PC. It's been shown that they implemented Denuvo which is an anti-piracy tech (this helps as cheaters aren't able to just pirate the game). It's also been shown that 2k25 has/will have UAC. Still, with PC games you always run the risk of running into a cheater, I don't care how secure the game or anti-cheat claims to be. There are people who will literally write their own windows kernel drivers in order to bypass anti-cheats.

Played park earlier. No hackers.

this is the first year the next gen version is on pc though if you care about that, best year to buy it imo

what a joke this is. I literally bought a console because park in PC is infested with hackers. I finally gave PC a chance again last year because there was a crazy steam sale for a few bucks...and as soon as I get in park, 2 guys standing around me with 10ft long arms. You're delusional!

Just switched over to pc after playing 19 yrs of playstation. Super bummed there's no crossplay between pc and consoles. Now I can't play with my friends.

I play like old school and with old school teams from the 1980s and 90s. For me, its worth it. The graphics look amazing, and the way the ball behaves looks so realistic.
