Check Refresh Rate in VideoSettings.cfg

Go to DRIVE:\Users\username\AppData\Local\2K Sports\NBA 2K25\VideoSettings.cfg

For some reason my refresh rate was listed as 60hz despite running a 144hz monitor. It seems to have improved the frame pacing issues a bit.

I can confirm doing this + forcing vsync in this file fixed it for me. I am messing with the controller rumble settings to see if I can get that working.

That fixed mycarreer nba games, I am a bit scared of stepping into Park with it as I heard it causes stuttering to have more than 60Hz there?

Did anyone tested if this disable the 60 FPS cap on park?

In my experience is impossible to be consistent at the game shooting at 144fps offline and 60fps online.

I find a FIX for the game won't launch

For no reason, the patch change my settings refresh rate to 164,9hz, like my screen monitor
So i just change 60,0 in :

Windows + R
%appdata%
Local
2K Sports
NBA 2K25
VideoSettings.cfg

Open it, change refresh rate "60,0,"

Save and its done, i hope this fix for some people

In my folder "Local" theres no 2k Sports
Can the videosettings.cfg be in some other folder?

nevermind, refresh rate locked for all players on 60hz in park, u cant change it
