2k PC noob/what settings to use?
Pretty new to gaming on the PC. Switched over from console. Just figured I'd start a thread where people can recommend preferred settings. 2k is downloading atm and never played it on a PC before.

I built a stupidly good PC(4090/78003xd) and if I'm being 100% honest didn't notice a massive difference between PS5/PC when it came to a game like Madden. Looked better but played similar IMO. Just curious how crucial FPS with a game like 2k is? I didn't notice much with Madden from like 90 vs 120. Should I max the graphics and play at 80-90 or turn some stuff down and get 120? I imagine the extra FPS could be pretty sweet with the dribbling on PC vs console.

Haven't even opened the game yet but would love to hear some suggestions when it comes to settings.

u should be able to use max settings across the board. I have a 3080. And the only thing i had to turn down was shadows from ultra to high due to low memory.

Gotcha. Probably a dumb question but should I be aiming for the highest possible FPS? I've read in sports games it matters less. In Madden playing at 100 FPS or whatever would be fine. Would it be smarter to play at 1440P over 4k and get a bunch of extra frames? or is 100-120 at 4k the move?

Also is 2k heavy on the CPU? Madden made my CPU run hot lol
