please GOD fix this game

i am so tired of having the slowest man on earth switched onto the opposing point guard. literally every single offline game i play my coach makes the most stupid possible defensive adjustments.

PLEASE tell me there's a fix for this now i cannot take it anymore

You can literally switch the defenders. Stop crying when you dont even care to look up the controller settings lol

yea i know that but i don't want to do it literally every game. plus they usually just replace my switches with random bs after a couple mins anyway

Thats how the game works tho. If you are not playing MyCareer you can go into the Playbook and assign certain Players onto another ones so that every game as example Jokic guards Curry instead of the opposing Center.

defensive matchups are a good idea i just don't want them assigned automatically. like i just started a game in mygm and i assigned someone to guard devin booker and literally 3 minutes into the game my assignment is replaced with goga bitadze?? not only is that the worst possible booker matchup on my team but he doesn't even get minutes LMAO i just want to be able to disable the stupid automatic changes it makes for me

I'm having this same problem, and it's making the game near-unplayable. Matchups are constantly, automatically, adjusting to weird incoherent matchups; it's not worth going into the menu to fix, because the computer will just change them again immediately.

yup no fix for it yet as far as i can find. last game i had to switch my center off the other team's pg 3 times

It happens to me as well.

I'll have my center on the point guard. lol. I notice that this happens when I switch to zone, and when I switch back I'll have this issue. Its not really a big deal. I'll just manually switch my guys back to auto or set up who I want to defend.

"Defensive Matchups will no longer potentially be reset after a timeout is called"
