Just play a season?
I have not played a 2k game in a long time, can I just pick a team and play a season and avoid all the VC and gatorade boosts and skill boosts and cards and all this extra predatory stuff? Thanks.

Yes myNBA eras is your best bet, don't need to spend a dime in there.

Yeah, but I'm doing exactly that in MyTeam. No online games, no spending money. Doing all the "offline" daily weekly challenges, domination, breakout, etc. Try it that way.
