Which option are you picking when you go into the game? If you want to play MyCareer, it has to be the top one.
Your error code suggests you've picked the bottom (offline) one.

After I restarted steam, restarted my computer, reinstalled the game, reinstalled steam and updated drivers and systems, it still didn't work. I've also tried all the other solutions in 2k support. Any solutions? Thx

For OP, Mine wasn't working either (same error since last night) but I restarted my computer, Steam updated to a new version and it worked after that. Hope it does for you as well. And Kobe, that sucks man - I'm not sure what else can be done. The only other thing I've seen people say works is verifying the files but if you already uninstalled and reinstalled, I assume that is already done.

i cant even open my game after this update that brought this easy anti-cheat, i even reinstalled the game and the exe file keeps on missing
