Crashing on startup after new update
My game crashes when I get to the Jayson Tatum intro screen every time, it doesn't matter if I launch with the bottom or top option. I had this problem for about a month when this game released and then has about 2 months of it not happening after one of the NVIDIA driver updates fixed it. I have reinstalled the NVIDIA drives and 2k but neither worked. I am mostly just wondering if anyone else is having this problem again now since the season 3 update.

Hi all, I see this thread is still active, I'm OP and I commented a while back on how doing a wipe of whatever drive my game was installed on or doing an entire factory reset on my PC worked. The problem also never came back after doing that, so to those who think it's worth doing a factory reset, it will likely fix the problem.

If you are using any Global iff file then you need to delete it. Every patch has caused this issue and we will need to likely wait for a new revision of Globals again. Once deleted the game won't crash after the initial loading screen
This works for me

ME TOO!!! THANKS
Hi, When I checked my memory integrity it is already turned off. Please advise

Easy fix for game crashing
All you have to do is delete your global in your mods folder

For those with issues launching the game or crashing when it's loading, it finally worked for me when I uninstalled my Avast Anti-virus. With just Windows Security, it worked - I was prompted for access by 2k25 anti-cheat after. So the error does have something to do with firewall, anti-virus, or whatnot that's blocking the anti-cheat hence why it won't let you load the game. Hope this leads you guys to solve the issues with yours. Check your PC's security settings.
