And then i will show their answer.” Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to 2K Support! This is Timothy at your service!
We also provide support in the Chinese Language. If you need it, please let us know.
I understand you are having a verification issue due to EAC. Let's see how we can help.
The Patch Update 3.0 for PC, releasing on Steam shortly before Season 3 begins on November 29, will introduce Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC). EAC is an industry-leading service designed to combat cheating tools and other unauthorized third-party software with an evolving approach that can counter new cheating techniques.
This implementation is part of the ongoing efforts by Visual Concepts and our Game Security team to detect and minimize cheating in NBA 2K. It works alongside existing measures, such as behavior-based bans, anti-tampering protections, and the in-game reporting system, to protect the integrity of competitive gameplay.
To help ensure a smooth transition, we recommend completing the following steps before installing Update 3.0, which will also install EAC if it’s not already present on your system (If you have already installed the latest game update, please complete the steps below too to fix your issue):
Update your PC to the latest version of Windows to maintain compatibility.
Make sure your graphics card and other essential drivers are up-to-date.
Update hardware control softwares (e.g. RGB lighting) to its latest version to resolve potential security vulnerabilities, or disable it if a compatible version is not available.
After installation, you may see a message whenever you start NBA 2K25 letting you know EAC is initializing.
If you still experience issues related to EAC - such as error codes or trouble launching the game after completing the steps above, please share your feedback with us through 2K Support or our official Discord feedback channels.
Thank you for your partnership as we work to deliver a fair and more secure NBA 2K experience.
2k think that I am a fool
error codes fee12ea9 and c8a819fc were changing each other every time i opened the game.
i tried almost everything described here, including vpn, reinstalling windows, steam and the game couple of times, deleting easy anti cheat folders, repairing eac, reinstalling chipset, lan, gpu drivers - nothing helped
