MY COMPUTER IS BLOCKING A VIRUS "IDP.Generic"...from this new update

My computer is completely blocking the NBA2k25.exe file........my game will not turn on. Ok now we should be able to get our money back right?????

i don't know what i did to fix this.....i got lucky and some how it stopped reading that virus. Thank god im still able to get into the game. WE ARE ON PENS & NEEDLES WITH THE GAME EVERY UPDATE!!!!...............im only going through this because i love the hell out of this game. Im not even an online player. I cant believe i am dealing with this. I will never buy this game at launch again....we live and we learn

my anti virus popped up with that virus, asked if I wanted to quarantine it, I did, and the game launched.

+1 Virus Trojan in NBA2K25 application, kaspersky uninstalled the game for me last night.

I reinstalled the game in January after the update didnt work (it showed 'not enough disk space' although there was plenty available). After reinstalling and starting the game, Norton blocked 'nba2k25,exe' showing it had a 'IDP.Generic' virus, diagnosed by behavioral analysis. It was the first time i started the game after 'Easy Anti-Cheat' has been implemented in fall. Could it be a false positive caused by 'Easy Anti-Cheat' falsely recognized as a virus?
