NBA 2K25 crashes during quick game and MyCareer [Steam Deck]

Anyone else experiencing this issue with NBA 2K25?

I purchased the 2K bundle yesterday and started playing NBA 2K25. However, every time I try to do a quick game (NBA or WNBA) and MyCareer, the game crashes and closes after the loading screen. Strangely, Blacktop 3v3 works perfectly fine.

My system and software are fully updated. I’ve tried tweaking the video settings and even resetting them to default, but nothing worked. Should I just wait for another update and hope it fixes the issue? Or should I consider refunding it?

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any fixes or workarounds?

Yea i am receiving the same problem. For me, the my career mode loads but when i walk into the arena to start the game it just crashes immediately. As well as when i click play now it would just crash as well.

I'm getting the same problem. It just started yesterday for some reason. Never had a problem the 2 weeks I've been playing the game until now.

It's happening to me as well. I can't join any online game. Tested it in mycareer and myteam

lots of people are having the same issue, on many different set ups. Yet the only response we get is "whats your specs" followed by silence.

Can't get into 2k 25 menu, I press play- it goes in does anti-software blue thing then it hops out of the game. Steam Deck Lcd 256 gig version.
