I have a similar speed PC. (Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 2060)
I have owned the game for like 3-4 days and the only issue I have is sometimes the game will have brief slowdowns. This is usually not a problem unless it happens while taking a jump shot and will seriously mess with your timing. I also try to outweigh the good with the bad. It's been a long time waiting for nextgen. It's been even more of a wait for anti-cheat. They are finally here and I'm not going to let a little in-game hiccup stop me from enjoying what I paid for..
I understand that you can't even play the game half of the time. I would look to do some troubleshooting. Is your PC stable? any issues with other games? You can somewhat check CPU stability with Cinebench. 3dMark Timespy is another good program. If you are having issues with benchmarking/stress testing then that will translate to a bad gaming experience.

The error means that the outdated graphics card cannot process what is being displayed by the game, so it crashes.
A missing key in the Registry editor, GPU overclock, and corrupted or missing files can also cause the game to crash
