Anti-cheat is pretty useless for this game. Even after Vanguard, you’ll still see cheaters in Valorant from time to time. Overwatch uses HWID bans, yet you still encounter cheaters every few games. They even track your Windows license serial number, but people still manage to make spoofers for this.
2K will never reach the anti-cheat level of Overwatch or Riot. However, they could implement unique IDs and in-game reporting systems as I mentioned before. I can’t believe they thought of anti-cheat before this.
It's like trying to teach a baby to run before they can even stand still
Not even close; if you can grind for it then it can't be P2W. P2W is cash only and affects character/player strength in ways that aren't obtainable in-game.
it's nearly impossible to get into a rec game a few months after release
i'm going to grab it on PC primarily for MyCareer, and maybe some MyTeam single player stufff
This is the one but I fixed the console suggestion. Supporting Sony is a big no-no as a gamer.
Just do yourselves a favour and avoid this company till they start treating you with the decency you deserve.

Developers and players alike have a role in combating cheating:
Enhanced Anti-Cheat Systems: Game developers need to invest in robust anti-cheat technologies and regularly update them to address new cheating methods. This includes monitoring for suspicious activities, implementing stronger encryption, and actively banning cheaters.
Community Reporting: Empowering the community to report suspected cheaters can be an effective measure. Players should have easy access to reporting tools and a clear process for addressing their concerns.
