Okay. Lets generally discuss how they broke a game months after launch.

NBA 2k25 has launched its anti-cheat program but it won't stop any cheaters still being active on this PC game. How can such a multi million franchise NBA 2k still not able to invest on a very good anti-cheat for us to have a very good and balance game. Yes, it is fulfilling to beat a cheater because despite of their 99 overall attributes still you are able to beat them because of your skill and being a team player. I guess 2k has really been earning a lot from these cheaters too because after they got banned they will still buy another account and 2k will earn from it continuously. Seriouly NBA 2k why make an anti-cheat that doesn't work at all. You are fooling us many players who would like to enjoy the game without playing against these cheaters. Why don't just make another nba 2k for cheaters/hackers so you will have both revenue from it?? Why make us suffer from buying an expensive game just for us to play online with these pathetic hackers who just know how to play the game using a tool. It is just frustrating that you wanted to a lot of your time playing but to the point you got bored because you play against these hackers. Even in my team you would see very well you are playing against a hacker. 2k when are you going to really remove those hackesr and satisfy us who has been playing the online games since 2k15.

I´m aga8b setup with 2K. After I run the domination and the let´s play mode. it starts running and after tipp-off I player gets fouled. Time-out after time out. I can´t play that game- That issue pops up in 2 modes at least!!!

Hello guys, i wanna play to nba 2K25 but when i wanted to start the game, a pop-up come with this message : sllnit() failed with error code 0x8. the DLSS options will be disabled.
everytime when i press the button to play everytime i have this popup and my game never launch

I tried many thing :
- redownload the game
- reinstall nvidia pilotes
- on/off my computer

If someone have some solutions.

Why Buy the Same Game Every Year?

Why do you keep buying the same game every year, people? We all know they could establish one stable version, have people subscribe, and update any changes to mechanics, graphics, rosters, etc....etc.....

I used to be a fan of both this game series and COD until I realized they were the same BS every year. I'm not buying the same game at full price every year, and the only major changes could have been made in an update.

I know it isn't the developers, but the only way these companies are going to put innovative gameplay, creativity, and the players back at the forefront of their purpose is if we stop buying their gold-plated turds year after year.

if you want change then it will start with you, staying away from anything related to it especially the forum, that include what you wrote, you hate something that much why keep staying close it, it doesnt make any sense

Even with the best hardware (cloud gaming), constant errors. Worst part is the game cant differentiate disconnecting from their errors and players leaving the game. Their mode MyCareer offers playing against online players however most people online cheats. All they care is for you buying their VC and will do everything to limit it for you so you would purchase it, then play against cheaters online.

Too much money to just rent the game!

Well, they want wayyyy too much for this game to just rent it. Hell, I wouldn't even pay $70 if I was buying to own this game. This is outrageous and a rip off! Given that we "Don't own the games" here on steam. I'm saying that my max price to pay to rent a game here is $20. I will not pay more than $20 to steam to rent any game here. $70 dollars????? who the hell do they think they are to charge that much for a game that we don't own and will be outdated in less than year.

You never owned a single game that you bought online unless you bought it via GOG. Why make a post coping about an "issue" that exists for more than 15+ Years lol. Kinda funny you are complaining about this considering how much you spend on other games that are 30€+

Why do people slam these games with negative reviews?

I'm genuinely curious about something: Why do so many people leave negative reviews for these games year after year?

I don't play them much myself UFC is the main one I enjoy but I’ve noticed that even fans who seem really invested in these series keep buying the games and then criticizing them.

If people keep coming back to these games, they must have something good going for them, right?

I'm not trying to sound critical or anything, just honestly wondering. If I were consistently disappointed by a series, I’d probably stop buying them. But if I kept returning to a game, I feel like I’d want to leave a more positive review.

What are your thoughts?

I think it’s cause they release them yearly and the DLC / in game purchases are quite expensive imo

Cause the game is bad, good graphical update but poorly optimize like example in my career in a hof game mod you're teammate kept on missing while you're enemy kept on hitting contested shot some people will be force to buy vc just to be the best player of the team. The crashes my game kept on crashing in the end of a mycareer game for some reason i don't know or even with simple loading screen crash.

Why? Because they are an EVIL company, for instance, i bought NBA 2k23, bought some credits, some players, now they just deleted the server, and i lost EVERYTHING i had.
They dont give a single F.

You question should be, how can someone smart give this games positive reviews?
Some people are like crack addicts, you know its bad, its evil, you are giving money to people who dont care about anything, but you still smoke crack so....

Its the same thing for me, you people keep giving them money, they will keep doing shady stuff and using evil strategies.

Im never buying any 2k games ever again in this life, my kids wont be allowed to buy ANY game from Ea Games , NEVER.

I dont support this kind of dark strategies from people trying to suck every single cent out of your pockets.
