help me: Disabling Special Guest Refree Meter
I don't want to play by the referee's rules. I know you could disable it in wwe2k24. Is it a bug or do I have to buy a dlc or do something in the game?

I'm pretty sure you can disable it no dlc needed. It could be a bug or maybe it's hidden some place in tge menus. Can you give a little more detail on what mode you playing and where are you looking to disable guest ref?

I tried to disable it in 4-player matches and I also did the 1 vs 1 one and it's blocked, in the guest refree matches. and then it's not even in the game settings.
I can't even disable it before starting the match because it's blocked there too.
is it a bug?

It has to be extreme rules, not normal rules.

yes but in wwe 2k24 you could remove the Disabling Special Guest Refree Meter in all matches, before you started it. it has nothing to do with the match.

I found a reddit post on it and they said it's a bug 5 days ago. I also tried the mode. I couldn't;t find the option you were talking about but the Ref does seem to be bugged... In my match the Ref did not move the AI just stood there watching in one spot... So I think special guest ref is bugged. I will keep trying at it to be sure.

updare fix disable referee meter

Nope. Still doesnt work in Univere Mode. Tryed old Savegame and created a new Univere to test it. Still greyed out.

yesterday I tried to do a fatal 4 away match and you can disable it, then I don't know if it was just luck or maybe it was solved but not completely.

I haven't checked if it's disabled in all matches but in the 4-player fatal far away it's disabled. Maybe the bug hasn't been completely solved for everyone and it's still causing problems

This is a concern to me since I like to do lots of guest ref matches. I can't find this option at all anywhere (where those screenshots from?), and I have to turn DQ and ring out counts off and mess with the almighty balancing sliders (oh God no!) to lighten the load for my random-force third-party-meddler of a referee.

Yeah it was hard for me to find too. I will message back with a step by step for you.
