Still Cant Send WWE 2k24 custom content to WWE 2k25

Have they seriously not done anything with this yet? Why do i have to re spend 12hrs plus worth of work just to make my Character ect again? You'd think a game creator would understand the anger and pain of having to Start alllll over again.... whats the reason?
Im getting sick of it. Id just rather play 2K24 then waste my life again trying to get the game where i want it to be - Do i just ask for a refund LMAO. They need to pull there fingers out

I'm with you on that. It's the only reason I am NOT buying WWE 2k25 this year. I would have pre-ordered it, but I don't want to spend all that time re-creating stuff for the new game. It is possible to do it if they spent time on it to make it work, so don't give BS about how they can't.

The only next WWE game I buy will be an actual true next gen version. For now though, no import option than no buy from me.

100% agree! Its not a true next gen version.... its 100% possible. They just dont care.

Apart of me thinks they want to false advertise by showing how much time people spend playing there game.... When its truly just wasted time spent trying to get the game to where they want it. Very sad

Now, for images and what not, you should just have to reupload, that's easy enough. Created characters is different, because this game has different assets than the last game. This would be like asking why you can't carry over your items from FF7 to FF8, just because the magic and potion names are the same. They are two different games entirely. Ever since the first WWE game, I've had to remake my character in every new year, but I'm fine with that because the assets and options are expanded (for the most part) each time, so they always look a little better each year (except '20, but lets not talk about that).

Its just so painful and i believe with alittle bit of work it can happen. They have essentially just built of the top of 2k24 and added extra things.....

One of my '24 CAWs had a move that was a finisher renamed in '25. Couldn't find it anywhere. Then I was using another wrestler and she used it - coincidentally as a finisher (might have been a signature), so I knew what to look for to put it back on my CAW. Would your hypothetical importer have been able to solve that issue? It would have had to be programmed with every single difference between the games to achieve it's purpose.

Hey Bro, im no script writer. Would you think this idea may have worked? You import your character from 2k24 ect, anything that has changed it flags and makes you change those things personally yourself before you could use them in 2k25... it would sit there unable to be used until you changed it. Alot of games have used this method.

That would hold weight if they used a new game engine for 2k25, but they didnt. for any AAA title using a decade old engine, (the same one for all their wrestling games) porting over a character, roster, arena etc should be easy, albiet slightly tedious.
