But that means I have to change half the stuff in my PC and I just spent 120 quid on this. Is there any other solution?

Given the circumstances, you are (& probably will be for some time) able to refund even if you have surpassed the allowed playtime, so don't worry about that part. Rather try and see if 2K makes a statement or smth. I've refunded and I'm waiting to see if anything comes up.
It's based on a new requirement so I doubt they'll make any extra statements. Officially, you would need to upgrade. A processor that can run the AVX2 instructions set is a requirement for the game. As AVX2 is a hardware instruction set. It can't be installed via drivers. If a processor can't run it, it doesn't meet the specs.

Unofficially, there's an Intel emulator that could make it work, but this would be at your own risk. It's not something 2K Support would be able to suggest or assist with, I'm only mentioning it because it's an Intel website.

What are your specs?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz, 16 gb, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. 2k24 worked great

Similar situation. I bought Deadman Edition
I try to launch the game - nothing happens, it doesn't launch at all
Same thing over here. God forbid 2K releases a working game smh
I bought the Bloodline edition. I always test beforehand via the “can you run it” website, where I was told that I could play the game on minimum. So far I've never had any problems with the results. My specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz , 16 GB , SSD is used , AMD Radeon (TM) RX 480 Series

You are not meeting the minimum requirements.
I'm not sure if you had an AVX2 emulator before for 2K24 to work, but now the CPU must support AVX2 and F16C. Your processor supports neither.

You're in the same situation. I don't think that website checks for these instruction sets, just benchmarks.

Then why is Intel Core i5-4460 listed as a minimum CPU if it doesn't support it as well? That's basically scamming customers.
Apologies, guess I shouldn't be trusting AI...

What kind of processor do you have?
