Last I checked, most PC players with dedicated GPUs are rocking an RTX 3060. (slower)
Although I don't really understand why an extra map would jack the requirements up so much higher... probably just withholding it in order to have a "selling point" for 2K26 on PC.
The City in the NBA games was already garbage, now we get the same in the WWE games. I'm kinda glad it's missing, but i feel disrespected as a PC player.
But hey for the missing Island-exclusive items, we get.... *checks notes* .... 15.000 VC. Amazing work <_<
Has anyone ever charted those numbers and ordered the video cards by benchmark?

The PlayStation 5 GPU delivers around 10.3 TFLOPS of theoretical performance (AMD RDNA 2 architecture). Based on gaming benchmarks (not just raw processing power), the PS5 is generally compared to GPUs like the Radeon RX 5700 XT, RX 6600 XT, RTX 2070 SUPER, or RTX 3060 and above.
If we focus only on GPUs that, on average, match or surpass the PS5 in performance, the total percentage from this list comes out to approximately 52.33%.
This means that roughly half (a little over 50%) of the listed systems have GPUs at or above PlayStation 5-level performance.
Therefore, we can confidently say that 2K’s decision to release a past-gen version of WWE 2K25 on PC isn’t due to weak hardware among PC players. Instead, it’s driven by budget-saving measures, prioritizing consoles, and undervaluing the PC audience. 2K likely assumes that a current-gen version won’t generate enough profit, so they’ve chosen to skip a proper adaptation.
This damages 2K’s reputation, and the only way for dissatisfied PC gamers to make their voices heard is simple: don’t buy the game.
At least if you're not happy with it and don't want to support it.
I'm not saying that it's not to do with the bottom line in some way as well, but I'm not sure just over half is enough to decide to make that jump (assuming the same proportions actually play the game). And they would have been making that decision early last year rather than now. There could be other developmental issues we'll never hear about as well.
Well, AVX2 was introduced by Intel in 2013 and by AMD in 2015. And we are in 2025.
On the same page - Other Settings - AVX2 110.82%+16.38% (I have no idea how it can be more than 100%, but there's a discussion about AVX2=90% on Reddit regarding the July 2023 report).
Again, we can assume whatever we want, but the main issue is that the developer has never even tried to explain this decision in any way. This is an example of poor communication with the community at its core.
And that's exactly why we will never know the real reason.
