A UNIFIED MyRISE

Why am I constantly playing "other" wrestlers in MyRise??? It's MY rise. Not playing Seth or Becks or who ever no one wants to know while My wrestler stands somewhere in a corner and watches.

My Rise is nothing else than another showcase mode were I play old stories from old wrestlers who are mostly above their expiring date. that's something done in MyFaction, Universe or MyGM. But not in MyRise. Oh...or in the Showcase mode...obviously.

And I'm not asking why MyRise is not MYrise but MyRise and the story no one is interested in of that annoying guy who constantly Interrupts me.

You only play as other people in one chapter, and you get to choose. Your argument on the title choice is pedantic. You are a pedant. A protagonist in a story can have allies and those allies can have a moment to shine. Stories work this way and I'm sorry you had to learn it like this. Frodo wasn't a one-man fellowship.

If you want to play as your own character, there's about 50+ matches to be played in the "Live Events" section in you want to unlock everything...

Honestly I think the majority of players is glad to switch characters occasionally and still keep playing the story.

its not thee only time they had us play as male and female but i kinda see there point with intergener matchs why just have play as male and female i agree shoud have a choice but its one of 2games gonk ups again idnt tink 2k gets it shoud have say play as male and female or play only as male or female

Choice is always better, but with the storylines being scripted it has to be like this.

Either way, it looks like my progress from MyRise has been deleted? I'm 100% sure I took Charlotte Flair as my ally in the story and her clothing options aren't unlocked anymore after the recent patch.

cant even get into myrise, crashes every time after starting it.

I had The Manifestation's Soul Siphon payback become re-locked a few days after I FINALLY finished grinding it, and two patches later it's still not back :(.

Nah, play through it again making the opposite gender choices at the very beginning. All your roles will be reversed. Spoiler: the opposite-gender person you once loved is now your greatest enemy. See how I said "opposite-gender person"? That's the one thing that won't change.

I know, because I was there.

That was my first playthrough by the way, and I still stuck with those two because they made a cute couple/training partners/childhood friends. Also because they had perfect movesets for my playstyle and you don't want to remake those ex nihilo every time. It was HEARTBREAK when my former lover/man-lover used our shared secret technique against me (or whatever) and went on a 20-minute rant on live TV about how bad I was in bed/in the gym/on the playground.

OH! Good news everyone! I had a sudden and mysterious TIFFY EPIPHANY and found a workaround (not a fix, that's 2k's job, and they will do it OR ELSE) for my little bug earlier: I went back into my completed MyRise file, played a live event match, and that seemed to crotch-kick my machine into wakefulness. After my assured victory (I am as close as it gets to a perfect 100 OVR after all this time) I jumped straight into the creation suite and my soul-sucking power was back where it belonged. Hallelujah!
