Hoping for a WCW Goldberg 110 OVR
His Jackhammer and Spear deals double damage, only occurs if Goldberg is doing it.
So I can do squash matches. So I can win matches under 1 minute easy.
I think WCW Sting with new interference entrance, being on a rope dropped from the top of the venue with a baseball bat.
WCW Scott Steiner new entrance comes out with freaks like Midajah
hes like the Godfather he don't come out alone he got his freaks
WCW Giant aka Big Show 120 STR, he used to chokeslam people hold them in the air at the peak of the chokeslam, all the way up he would bring people to the skies, so its a long ways down for a second or two then devasting chokeslam
WCW MENG
I need a tonga vs somoa rivalry going
Lastly Floyd MONEY MAYWEATHER, MIKE TYSON
I need to do my Tyson vs Paul rivalry in this game, it didn't end as I wanted it to end, it should been 1 HIT KO Mike Tyson wins.
Like Mike Tyson punchout, you get hit, you KO'ed.
And while we're talking drinks, it's obvious to me the product the virtual crowd should be subliminally manipulating us into buying is Zoa! It's SUPER thematically appropriate (and it tastes great).
What else do you see?
The Prime bottle is probably just product placement for a bit of moolah, and I wasn't thinking this at the moment of writing my last post but I recall now that a number of athletes have had partnerships with Prime where their names and distinctive imagery were printed on the bottle. That's a lead worth looking into.
There's a pretty obvious ECW sticker on the fencepost in the first shot of the second video. Unless there's something else nearby that I missed, that's a little nonspecific, but who here WOULDN'T expect some ECW legends to make an appearance?
Is the letter J significant to the NXT brand? I don't know, but I'm basically 100% certain there is at least one guy or gal in NXT who has a J in their name.
There's a rather ominous silhouette spread over almost an entire building in one of the urban shots of veedya numero uno. I've seen that face before, and it's not Godzilla. Though I wish it was, for the alternative is worse.
I can't say for sure where the shot was taken (probably AI or store-bought stock picture though right?), but a street lined with pink trees is not only endemic but emblematic of Japan. Those trees have a name and it's not a completely unpopular name in that culture...
Is Blue Pac-Man a thing? I feel confident in saying Namco doesn't own the rights to that one.
I can tell you the blue Pac-Man thing is a red herring. It was part of the original picture the other things were added to.
Not all of them make it in, though. It would be great if they did a Hall of Fame Showcase in my opinion. Do a bit more with the inductees than just include some of them. I am glad Paul Heyman is prominent in the Showcase as he was last year's headliner.
...in the 90's.
But I hear there are at least two more veedyas?
I seriously cannot fathom some of these decisions. Why are we putting a guy who almost killed a minor in a wrestling ring in this game? Why does one of the DLC packs for a wrestling game contain less wrestlers than literal basketball players?
I enjoy most of the DLC this year, but some of these are just mindblowingly stupid.
Edit: Yes, I am aware Kulas lied about his age. That part was not New Jack's fault. What he did after being asked to blade him was.
I am coping that the three basketball players are Shaq, Tyrese Haliburton, and Dennis Rodman as they had more involvement in pro wrestling. Abyss and Great Khali are welcome additions though.
The madlads actually added in New Jack. They had plenty of other ECW stars to choose from. The rest of the pack looks good aside from the celebrity.
Nice to see we get everyone in D-Generation X. It only took 2K about three and a half games to get it right. Nonetheless, D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry's return is great! Victoria is long overdue to be back in the games.
The last pack is the best pack this year imo. I am a huge fan of old school wrestling and its great to see Tito Santana and Paul Orndorff make it into the games!
Overall, the DLC picks for this year is very mixed. I mean the devs weren't lying when they said the DLC will have genuine surprises whether they are good or bad.
Seeing D'Lo again makes it all worth it, as far as I'm concerned. I love that man.
Why not more legends or more active wrestlers? Adding celebrities and pro athletes to a game is usually done in a bid to gain exposure for a product; the WWE doesn't need that kind of exposure, as it is already a well-recognized product.
I would be far less annoyed if there weren't several factions that are now incomplete in the game. NQCC has ONE of four members in the game.
Its funny that the NQCC members are in the game via names on the titantron, but they are not DLC. I think 2K doesn't understand how many legends and wrestlers they can put in the games especially with Triple H mending bridges with a lot wrestlers who had a bad experience in WWE.
They pulled the same thing in 2k20 with the Forgotten Sons and Jaxson Ryker.
