i'm not buying it, the first wwe title i haven't bought since the original play station days. 2k not delivering its features to the far superior gaming platform (PC) is a kick in the nuts.

The roster is virtually identical to last year and hardly any new features. I also despise MyRise, Showcase and Myfaction. I'm one of those odd people who actually plays the professional wrestling component of the game and wishes that would be the focus of improvement for once.

My usual policy is to stay a year behind and buy the full featured version when it's 80% off, since that's what these games are worth to me. However I just got 2k24 and discovered wolfpac, Big Pappa Pump and others are locked behind myFaction nonsense where they cost 100+ thousand points and you get about 100 per match. Did I mention I hate this mode already? So I will never even have the fully featured product because I can't be f'ed to play the amount to unlock these characters, and I sure as hell am not paying real money for the points.

So the full featured version is 180 dollars Canadian, before taxes and even that doesn't unlock much. I still have to slog through Showcase to unlock the arenas, so I haven't saved diddly by getting the booster and I have to (I won't, but in theory I have to) slog through MyFaction for months to get Big Pappa Pump and the wolfpack alts. What, 180 bucks isn't enough for 2K to just unlock everything?

Screw this, and anyone of you who spends a penny on MyFaction or it's equivalents in other sports titles are total.... you know what.

ingame cutscenes in showcase
etc
last year what did we get? we can now throw weapons
and we can give managers orders
and tag teams get debuffed after entering the ring
people skipping last year made way more sense than this year as this year we are getting a whole lot
