i watched wrestling in the attitude era, so i have certain stars i like in the main events, and certain ones i prefer in mid card.
high ranked hogan, goldberg, taker, austin, rock, triple h, warrior, andre, sting, ddp, and bruno.
just for example.
then your mid carders orton, cena, batista, lashley, and whoever else you can think of.
bottom line, just want the game to respect the overalls. otherwise what is the point of having stats at all? my simple answer is just bring back reversal limits and let us pick how many reversals we get for each wrestler. 1 - 5 or UNLIMITED. that was everybody would be happy.
I'm not sure which question I'm not answering, though.
SVR was dope...if you want arcade just whip out the ps1 and pop that in.
raw is war and attitude were probably the two worse wwe games ever. it was the first era wwe games so what do you expect. The roster literally had like 16 wrestlers in it. It had 3 different matches 1v1, 2v2 and battle royal.
Now there are enough on the roster to have royal rumbles from both genders...you literally can't go wrong with that type of roster and the all the different match types. I just wish they would put more gimmick matches like the leather strap match, contract on a pole, maybe a shark cage to put the ops manager in it. Hell why mot throw in the eye for an eye match.
i liked raw is war and attitude for the n64. good times. even back then for some matches... if i created a weak fighter against a strong fighter, i could sim the match and the game would respect the ratings and strong would win. if i wanted a closer match then i would adjust the ratings accordingly.
thats all i want to do in a wrestling game. tell my own story. not just every star having unlimited reversals.
my first pro wrestling game was wwf raw for sega genesis. and since then i havent missed a wrestling game from any company. some were arcade, and some were SIM.
the only game i really hated was 2k20, only because it froze on me all the time and glitches were insane.
all that said i am still fired up for 2k25, just hours away. Deadman Edition RIP!
You are truly a legend pal, please give us your feedback about wwe 2k25
I do miss the arcade style as in modes, but moveset, I find the other recent WWE games to be ok where its at now, its just sluggish where it can feel buggy at times.
you know I'm trying to get into VR games, but every game seems to have 12 year olds yapping and being super social, very awkward. So i'm not sure if thats what you mean by the island stuff is bunch of kids.
I do find the PC to have more mature playerbase like working class people. Not a bunch of kids.
I buy this game based on roster and the game modes. I don't give no care about if this is an 8th gen or 9th gen or next gen. Who cares.
If game is bad it don't matter if its next gen.
If game is really good, it don't matter if its next gen.
Also, having 300+ people in a roster, thats nothing.
If you missing people I actually play, thats the difference thats the decision factor.
If you don't have the fun game modes/styles to play your favorite people, thats a decision factor too.
They need to make the superstar creator as good as having an original.
Because just because I can community create download them, thats not the same as actually being an original.
Because the created superstars just don't feel the same as the originally in game
superstars
So if anything they need to make it so created superstars feel just as good as the in game superstars. Then roster, that one person or peoples I want in game not making it, doesn't weigh as much as in deciding is this game bad or good.
"The pay-to-win island would make Ted DiBiase blush [...]"
It's important to read the article though so I'm doing just that. They seem to like the game outside of the island. It's been a reoccurring theme in the articles I read today.
Your money, your desicion - But that's not helping PC players.
