Game Startup Crash
Prior to today's update, I guess I'm one of the rare few that was able to play everything just fine, relatively bug free. Played MyRise for a few hours with no problem. Created 2 CAWs with no problem.

Anyway, after the patch, every time I try to even start the game, it causes my whole computer to freeze, forcing me to physically restart everything. I even gave it a few minutes to see if it just needs time to process, but nope. Just outright freezes everything.

Specs are as follows:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

Seems to be somekind AMD related, my old Intel Machine here is running just fine.

While my buddy with an AMD Based System it crashes to Desktop after the "Now, Then, Forever" Clip since the last patch.

Try this if you did not did it already.

Klick on Steam (Top Left Corner) ---> Settings ---> Clear Download Cache after that right clik on WWE 2K25 ---> Properties ---> Verify game data

Helped my buddy maybe it works for you too.
I have AMD, the game worked before and after patch. I do know windows and AMD have some communication problems.... every few weeks my windows 11 will update my AMD drivers to some generic windows drivers that don't work. That causes all my games to not open (I get era codes though)... so I go to my AMD client and I get a message about my drivers not being installed or something like that. So after that I use the AMD clean tool, then I reinstall my AMD drivers, everything works again.

If you use dsx tool make sure you run it as an admin the game seems to cause a race issue over the controller which leads to crash during intro i figured that from windows event history. setting dsx to run in admin solved the problem

if you use steaminput instead of dsx try running steam in admin mode should do the same trick

When does the freeze happen exactly?
