Universe Mode Draft

Someone told me that there's a draft on the universe mode but i can't find where to do it :(

The draft wouldn't make sense in universe mode when you think about it because you're not really competing against another brand, you run all of them. A lottery would make more sense in universe mode, I think.

I guess what those asking for it in Universe are asking for is for the draft to be presented as a separate feature when they could just swap shows manually already.

Yeah, that makes.

I mean it might sound bootleg, but they can do that now with some creativity. I would do 1 of 2 things...

1: Start a MyGM game, go through the draft, then make the same shows in My Universe with the same Wrestlers that were drafted to the different brands

OR

2: I would just take a screen pic of the draft layout from MyGm, and use that as a guide to do a draft for My Universe, you'll need a calculator, but it could be fun until they decided to add it to the game. Like I said, it might be bootleg, but it would get the jod done for now 😂

I normally take the lowest ranked ppl from each division and swap them with their counterparts, once a year after mania

That's a good idea too, very easy to mange as well.

Yep, with some creativity you can make things works in the game. I personally like creating my own rules and systems for what I want.

Why do you need a draft? The roster is fully customizable. Just run your own "draft"

I kind of wish we had the draft in universe mode myself, we had it in a previous iteration (dont remember off tope of my head, probably like wwe12?) and it was interesting to see it and change things and how it can be out of the players control.

But now what I do is just put all sd/raw superstars in their own seperate list and I do my own like draft using random.org and I do like mock draft matches like they did in the past. I normally start it after wrestlemania... normally I don't have nxt part of it, what i do is after every 3 months I will call up a superstar from NXT and randomize what brand they get called to, or maybe call two so both raw/sd get their own star?

I kind of keep NXT as just a hub for any OG caws and or other promotion superstars before I want to call them up to the main roster, and its a way to say test wrestlers out.

Because it's fun to play out a universe with minimal human control. Seeing strange factions coming together. In my universe in 25 now 3 minute warning have formed a faction with Mr perfect and being managed by bobby Heenan lol

The AI is awful at booking matches and setting up rivalries. I think it's better handled manually, but a toggle on and off for that could work for people like me who want to book and set things up, and people like you that want the AI to do.... I just hope Universe Mode stays offline... ask for too much AI and they might have to tie it to a online server, that would be baaaaad.

Agree because 2k shuts servers after 3 years 😔
