Family Sharing not working
My friend doesn't see wwe 2k25 in his steam library. although we share access to each other's libraries. Is this related to early access?

Apparently, "Games that require an additional third-party key, account, or a subscription in order to play" cannot be shared between accounts. This game needs a 2K Account so might not be eligible.

Its related to early access when the game comes out it should work. It worked for PGA2k25 so it should work here too.

In the Steam category, it’s written that it has family sharing. I assume family sharing will be available on the release date

Fair enough.
Family Sharing Server Issue
My nephew wanted to try WWE 2K25 and installed the game as a family sharing member. However he immediately got a server error window before the main menu (unable to communicate with server). He tried the community creations and it said his account has a disconnected network error.

He’s fully online by ethernet. Any suggestions or advice?

I have been having the exact same issue with my family. They wanted to make a custom character and upload for the universe we'll be running on my account, but all the online features give a network issue when selected. Might be a family share bug if you are also experiencing it.

Online does not work on Family Sharing
Tested on 2 different steam deck, and a Desktop PC on both Linux AND Windows. If Steam is logged in to the original account that purchased it the online servers work perfectly fine. The second a Family Sharing account starts the game the online features won't connect.

Also a lot of the DLCs don't work through Family Sharing either. Doesn't give any kind of warning or explanation, just isn't available!

Very shady of 2K to do this without making is transparent that, that is the case.

I am having the exact issue, I cannot access any online feature. Not even MyFaction.
If you find a fix to this please let me know.

Family Sharing, just like all other games, works if you are offline (if the other person is playing), if you play online and the other person signs on you get booted out (or can't access at all, that's how Steam works). Other than that, there are no issues at all as I have family sharing and as long as only one person is playing, it works fine in all aspects.
I'm very interested because I was playing WWE 2K24 through Family Share last week and everything was ok. I was able to go into community creation and play online, but when I was able to play WWE 2K25 through Family Share, it still shows me today that it can't connect to the WWE 2K25 server.

Thing is is the "online service" which doesnt work, no matter if someone is using the copies or only one. We got 2 copies and the only person that cant get connected is the one that dont own the game, even if no one is using the copies. Either is a bug or is intended.

That is not the case in my situation, the other account is offline and I still cannot access any online features MyFaction or Community Creations.
