Definitely, yes. It is currently impossible on PC to not have low quality asset models in your match cause the trigger for high quality models is too short.

Or, problems like this, where I am sure that 2K doesn't wan't this to be a huge topic on social media.
Because you are only seeing lower asset models in gameplay, these models have slightly changed bodies and these don't react well anymore to the attires they are wearing. So you are constantly having smaller or bigger parts of the body glitching through the clothing, like here.

I am sure it's in 2Ks interest to get this fixed.
Yes, this is a 2K25 only problem. Never was a thing in 24.
Already did, very detailed, 4000 characters long. We will see if it does something.
This is definitely a bug. This never happened in 2k24. If it's not a bug, it's a deliberate downgrade on the PC version to push a move to consoles. There is simply no reason for it as this game is not taxing at all on modern systems, compared to other recent games. My GPU is like on 40% utilisation, and I'm on a 3070 at 1440p, max settings. At least just give us an option or a slider. (Well, that's why they have the "multi-man performance" tickbox for potato PCs).
I suspected the same, bc in 4v4 matches with the game's camera being slightly more zoomed out, the audience becomes a horrible low texture mess. When i compared it with my 2k24 screenshots, that never happened before.
So it's as you said: The distance of the camera causes the low textures to appear. I'm baffled how they could screw this up, when it worked perfectly last year. I'm at a complete loss for words over this mess
EDIT: Ok, also noticed it in 1v1 matches, so its not tied to multi-person matches. It's solely on the camera. It also seems they are trying to hide the fact that the audience is stuck to low quality assets by using the blur, which disappears at a different angle. It looked so much better last year. Absolute joke from 2k...
The issue is on PS5 as well, so it's thankfully not PC exclusive bug
I checked some videos of 2k24 and the LOD change was obvious as well, but it was much better than 25, you can tell from Cody's hair at the beginning of the match

They need to set LOD distance much further
