There is an option for matches with many superstars under the graphic settings.
EDIT: Additionally i played a bloodline rules match earlier and during the match the sweat textures were showing up...but on the guys doing the run-ins, not the two guys that started the match. Day 1 patch gets another addition, sigh
Have you sent in a ticket to 2K Support?
Yeah but there is an option to lower the quality when there are more then x superstars in the ring under the graphic settings seperatley from your other graphic settings.
I think Zeo meant to check if you set it to off, for my buddy it was enabled by default.
So you could check if you set that to off, if you did already there is something else wrong.
They haven't even changed the graphics, so there is no reason for them to do this to stabilize the framerate
Ok, so it seems a to be a bug there. But it was worth a try.

Which doesn't happen on the high quality assets.
And then I found out that it's probably LOD based, and therefore an LOD problem. If I go very close to the model with the third person camera, it changes to high quality. So this is what's actually broken. The LOD is so short that the normal gameplay camera can't reach it and everything is low asset models in normal gameplay.
