Anyone else failing to boot up the game?

I can't even get my system to open some new window. I tried streaming from Steam Deck, there was some window / loading screen which crashed shortly after.

Basically unable to play without any errors whatsoever

I bought the Deadman Edition

Anybody with similar issues or potential ideas on how to fix?

I'm having this issue now. I get a spinning wheel then the game menu turns back to play

I tried validating game files, using my Steam Deck, run as Admin & I turned off full screen optimization, nothing yet. I'll post again if I find a way to fix / play the game

I'm wondering if this is an issue that only persists with the Deadman Edition given there do not seem to be more people reporting this bug

I have Bloodline and it has the same issue. Classic 2K imo

I've reported the issue to 2K, so it's safe to assume there'll be feedback within the next 3-6 months

Sadly, for us it just goes back to showing the "PLAY" option without opening a process. There is nothing happening on the task bar. The .exe appears on the task manager for like 1 second and instantly disappears again.

It works on Steam Deck for me now, did not change a thing

I can't, just checked on my Deck and it crashed. PC still did not work, reinstalling to see if that fixes it right now.

I've just booted the bloodline pack and i hit play, goes running then nothing happens. Is there a solution?

i have the same issue with the deadman edition. no error or anything. it just says it is running, and then nothing loads up and stops running.

Im also having the same issue.

check if your CPU supports AVX2 and F16c... The same issue have many players if the CPU not support this

I've got an Intel i9-14900KF which according to Intel has AVX2 but does not support F16C.
So this essentially means most people are doomed regardless? Feels odd to hear that a somewhat high end CPU is insufficient for this game.
